Nordic mining tour, June 6-15, 2008

Together with the MassMin conference, the NORDIC MINING TOUR takes you on a memorable journey through the Nordic mining society. Take this unique opportunity to experience the beautiful Nordic nature and the fabulous midnight sun, and at the same time, visit some of the major mines like Boliden’s Aitik copper mine, and LKAB’s iron ore mine in Kiruna located north of the Arctic Circle. The tour also takes you to Tampere, Finland and to Örebro in central Sweden, for company visits to the world class mining equipment suppliers Sandvik and Atlas Copco.
