Luleå University of Technology, situated in the middle of the Nordic mining region, is the northernmost university of technology in Scandinavia and a world class center of engineering and applied research. Luleå Art centre

Luleå’s new arts center (completed in 2007) hosts concerts, congresses, art exhibitions and other cultural events. The center, which is beautifully situated overlooking the Lule River, also houses the city library, a café and restaurant.
